A deep breath
gasping for air
the mistake I made
cannot be undone
I must sit here
she's right next to me
watching with a ghostly gaze
stary eyes and white hair
how much I loved her
I'd told her I'd give my life for her
and yet I thought I wouldn't have to
It was a promise
no one knows where we are
for we are lost in the eternal dark

The wind in our hair
fingers intertwined
We loved each other
deeply
It's the end
our feet on the edge of the bridge
cold metal on our bare feet
cuts and scares from razorblades
that cut in our pale skin
we smiled
It's the end for us
we kissed a deep kiss
her soft lips on mine
then without any last thoughts we jumped
jumped
  jumped
         jumped
                                   In the deep
                                      dark
                                   water
We hit the surface
we realized our mistake
gasping for air
drowning in the water
